Morgan Wallen Cancels Pittsburgh Show Due to ‘Severe’ Weather Threat

Morgan Wallen has officially canceled his scheduled performance in Pittsburgh for Saturday night, June 6, 2026. The country music sensation cited “severe adverse weather conditions” in the region and emphasized that the safety of his fans and crew remains his primary concern.

Safety Concerns Force Last-Minute Cancellation

The superstar was slated to take the stage at Acrisure Stadium as part of his massive Still the Problem Tour. The tour, which kicked off in Minneapolis on April 10, is scheduled to run through August 1, concluding in Philadelphia. Wallen took to social media on Saturday afternoon to share the news with his followers.

“After talking with local officials and my team, there is no choice but to cancel tonight’s show due to severe adverse weather conditions expected throughout the rest of the day and night,” Wallen wrote on his Instagram Story. He further clarified his priorities, stating, “Safety for my fans and crew is my highest priority. Refunds available at point of purchase.”

The canceled event was intended to be the second of two back-to-back nights at the stadium. Wallen successfully performed on Friday night, June 5, alongside opening acts Brooks & Dunn, Gavin Adcock, and Zach John King. While Saturday’s lineup was set to include Ella Langley in place of Brooks & Dunn, the severe weather threat ultimately made the event impossible.

Severe Weather Forecast for Pittsburgh

According to local reports from CBS in Pittsburgh, the area was braced for significant meteorological activity, with strong to severe storms expected to develop after 2:00 PM. The weather system was projected to move through the city between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM, bringing threats of heavy winds, hail, and the potential for isolated tornadoes.

Wallen’s announcement did not include an apology or any immediate indication of a rescheduled date, focusing strictly on the immediate safety risks posed by the storm system.

The Still the Problem Tour Continues

Wallen first announced the 2026 Still the Problem Tour in October 2025. The ambitious trek consists of 21 shows across 11 major cities, focusing exclusively on large-scale stadium venues such as Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, and Soldier Field in Chicago.

The tour features a rotating roster of high-profile support acts. In addition to Ella Langley and Brooks & Dunn, artists such as Thomas Rhett and Hardy are scheduled to provide direct support on select dates throughout the summer.
