Photography + Review: Lil Uzi Vert

Lil Uzi Vert sold out Boston’s MGM Music Hall this holiday weekend. This was Lil Uzi Vert’s second stop in Boston on this tour and subsequently was the tour closer as well. This tour featured a brief DJ set before they came out for a 33-song setlist. They took the stage by coming out on top of anime-themed city stage props, instantly captivating the audience. Despite being up on a high platform, Lil Uzi Vert ran around keeping the crowd hype all night. On top of the top-notch product, Lil Uzi Vert was seen wearing multiple chains, designer clothes, and fur boots, solidifying their testament to always doing what they want no matter what anyone says. Lil Uzi Vert even mentioned while celebrating their Grammy nomination that they “don’t care about winning the award, I just wanna show up wearing something weird in front of everyone”.

Lil Uzi Vert continually showed their endless adornment for the fans and how they continually support every release of the years. The setlist was a carefully curated mix of their hits and fan favorites. From megahits like “XO TOUR Llif3”, “Money Longer”, and “Just Wanna Rock’ to the newer “Suicide Doors” and “Flooded the Face”, each song resonated with the crowd, turning the concert into a collective celebration of the artist’s discography. In recent interviews, Lil Uzi Vert has hinted at potential retirement soon, and this tour pulling from every release would be a perfect send-off.

We can easily say this is one of the best concerts we had the privilege of seeing this year, and we do hope to see Lil Uzi Vert do another tour, especially if they win the Grammy they’re nominated for. We had our photographer Kyle at this final stop in Boston, and you can check out his pictures below!
