Alok & Dynoro's 'On & On' Video Is a Sultry Ode to '90s Fighting Games: Exclusive

What do Mortal Kombat characters do when you're not around? In Alok and Dynoro's "On & On" video, they get real freaky.

Directed by Sarah Knüpfer, the clip centers around a hyper-real take on '90s arcade fighting games. One minute, you're choosing your fighter, the next, two unchosen members are making the camera all foggy with their steamy moves, a la that episode of Black Mirrorminus the rated R bits. We also get treated to some pretty fun side-scroller fight scenes. It's sexy, it's playful, and it doesn't have to make a lot of sense over the club-forward groove.

"On & On" was released in November and has since racked up 17.6 million Spotify streams. It capped a big year for Alok, who also remixed the Grammy-nominated Meduza song "Piece of Your Heart."  The single followed Dynoro's 2019 hit "Obsessed" with Ina Wroldsen.

The official music video for "On & On" sees full release Friday, but you can catch it on early exclusive below.
