Video Premiere: La Rosa Noir – “Chicano Stomp”

Posted: by The Editor

Post-punk band La Rosa Noir is the latest band signed to SoCal based indie record label My Grito. Gearing up to release their upcoming EP, out later this year, we have an exclusive premiere of the video for their single “Chicano Stomp.”

“‘Chicano Stomp’ is about community empowerment and latino pride, living life the way you want to live it, being proud of who you are, where you come from, and what you do – that’s pretty much how you do the Chicano Stomp,” says frontwoman/rhythm guitarist, Yeshi Regalado. “Performing this song the night of its single release show was a dream. Being able to coordinate a whole show to also celebrate our partnership with My Grito and celebrate how far we’ve come and how much we have going for us. Being able to share this moment with our community, the local scene felt all the more empowering and liberating.” Born and raised in Chicago, IL, La Rosa Noir is a band with dark and dreamy surf tones and heavy heartfelt lyrics. Influenced by the moody era of ’90s alternative indie and punk, La Rosa Noir strives for a sound that’s cool and fun.
