Young Thug has joined the coronavirus conversation. On Monday (March 16), Thugger left fans a biblical message regarding his thoughts on the coronavirus via his Instagram page.
Highlighted in red marker with words saying “pay attention children,” Thugger circled this particular passage: “Whenever I hold back the rain or send locusts to eat up the crops or send an epidemic on my people, if they pray to me and repent and turn away from the evil they have been doing, then I will hear them in heaven, forgive their sins, and make their land prosperous again.”
Interestingly enough, many others have shared this same passage after news of locusts appearing in Asia and South Africa earlier this month. According to BBC, “hundreds of billions of locusts are swarming through parts of East Africa and South Asia in the worst infestation for a quarter of a century, threatening crops and livelihoods,” further sparking conversations of what’s happening real-time versus the religious thoughts being presented by people online.
Keri Hilson recently gave her thoughts on the current pandemic, deeming it a conspiracy. Debunking any religious theories behind the current outbreak, Hilson blamed 5-G technology and the adverse effects of radiation. Later, she dispelled her initial theory on Twitter.
“Management has asked me to delete vid/articles,” she tweeted. “I appreciate good discourse on unconventional thinking. Let’s all just be safe out there, cuz whatever the cause the virus a real thing. May God be with us…prayers to alllllll.”
