Day Joy Release New Album Featuring “All For Nothing”

Day Joy originally began in 2013 as a response to frontman Michael Serrin’s partner’s episodic night terrors. After releasing their debut album, a tragedy struck and the band was put on hold. Five years later, Day Joy returns with a new album featuring All for Nothing.

The Austin-based outfit explores existentialism by questioning whether or not our suffering has any purpose. Naturally, there’s a sadness coating All for Nothing draped with a sort of goth-folk inflected twang, clean finger-picked chords, and sing-along harmonies.
