While touring acts are currently off the road amid the coronavirus pandemic, loads of acts have hit the Internet to live-stream performances.
In the dance world, these live streamers include Sofi Tukker, Diplo, Jamie Jones and more. Meanwhile, the cancelled Ultra Music Festival is set to launch the Ultra Virtual Audio Festival on Friday with sets from acts including Armin van Buuren, Afrojack, Martin Garrix, and Major Lazer.
With the ability to perform for millions of fans available to any producer with a camera and wi-fi, it’s likely that we’ll see a lot more live-stream performances as global requirements around social distancing continue and expand.
