Over the past four years, Delaware’s Rew has been pumping out LPs of dreary, rainy, noisy slowcore from his bedroom. All his music has a claustrophobic, axnious quality to it, as though it was never meant to be heard by anyone else. That is about to change.
Rew will release his upcoming sixth LP Rewin on April 26th via Philly’s Born Losers Records, and we’re excited to premiere the video for new single “CEMETERY SKIN.” It’s a perfect entry point into Rew’s world; it’s the cleanest and clearest his music has ever sounded, a behemoth track that welds shoegaze warble with bedroom pop intimacy.
