Earlier this year, Connecticut emo band Arms Like Roses teamed up with Sinking for a killer split, and today we’re excited to bring you the video for the opening track. Arms Like Roses’ take on emo is explosive and cathartic, but it’s still tuneful and melodic, and “Untitled Love Song (Dedicated to No One)” is a great example. It’s a slowburner at first, mathy licks wrapping around each other tighter and tighter while Estelle Angel trills over them until the weight is too much to carry and the whole thing goes up in flames.
I caught the band last month with Be Safe, and they opened with “Untitled Love Song (Dedicated to No One).” It’s awesome on record, and it’s awesome live. The video for the song, premiering exclusively below, captures that passion nicely, I’d say. Check it out below.
