Making over two decades of music, The Decemberists have truly stamped their style into the indie rock cannon. Their instrumentals and vocals have only progressed and tuned since their first LP in 2003. Their latest three singles have only proven that the band is comfortable in their style, but continue to keep up with new and interesting sounds. Alongside The Decemberists, were Chicago-based up-and-comers, Ratboys. Taking influence from early 2000’s indie darlings, the band has also bloomed into their signature sound. The two bands together are a perfect sonic pairing. Jay caught the two at their show in Philly and took some amazing photos from the night. Check them out!
