Diplo Is Live-Streaming a Set From His Living Room Every Night

Even as touring has come to a halt amid the global coronavirus pandemic, Diplo hasn’t stopped the hustle, live-streaming DJ sets from his living room for the past four nights.

On Tuesday night, he paid homage to the legendary Hollertronix parties of his earlier career by doing a “Ronatronix” set made up of the house music he’s been serving via his Higher Ground label, along with cuts from artists including Billie Eilish, Busta Rhymes, New Order and Enya. (“She’s Irish,” he announced in a nod to St. Patrick’s Day.) Other highlights included him changing hats a few times, taking his shirt off and briefly standing up to stretch.

The set was a happily DIY affair lit by candles and Christmas lights and interspersed with various Diplo personnel working out technical aspects of the show on the other side of the camera. “You guys want me to do this every night,” he asked the internet at the and of the 95-minute set. “Like and subscribe, wash your hands and stay 6 feet away from your friends.”

Diplo is on the cover of the current issue of Billboard, sharing how he and the small army that works for him keep his world in motion. Read the cover story here and watch Diplo’s complete Ronatronix set below.
