Bandsintown to Begin Alerting Fans of Livestreams as Tours Sidelined

In addition to the new WATCH LIVE feature, Bandsintown will launch Live Music Marathon next week

For years, Bandsintown has been a leader for direct-to-fan engagement as artists tour the globe. Now, in addition to full tour schedules and alerts, Bandsintown is adding WATCH LIVE alerts to artist pages to link directly to livestream concerts, including Facebook Live, Instagram Stories, or performances hosted here on Billboard.com.

Artists will be able to promote their various livestreams on their own Bandsintown page. WATCH LIVE will begin rolling out for free on Bandsintown For Artists next week. They are also launching a new live music channel on Twitch to host concerts, launching today (Friday, March 20) at 1pm EST/10am PST with DJ and producer Black Coffee, performing live from his studio in South Africa. Stream it at live.bandsintown.com.

Finally, the Bandsintown Live channel will host the multi-day Bandsintown Live Music Marathon on Thursday, March 26-Friday, March 27. The lineup will feature both established and rising artists and all donations collected during the festival will be donated to the MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund. Full lineup will be revealed next week.

Go to bandsintown.com for all updates and search for any and all artists to see when they’ll be performing.
