It’s been over a year since Tugboat Captain released ‘Be Strong, Smoke Less’, but the London-based outfit now returns with No Plans (For This Year).
The single marks a departure from their lo-fi roots and introduce a more orchestral pop sound with help from their friends. While No Plans (For This Year) sounds like it was written during quarantine, Tugboat Captain initially wrote it over a year ago. It turns out, they do have plans as the single’s off their forthcoming debut studio album, ‘Rut’, due out this October via Double A-Side Records.
Fingers crossed for a second wave and another five months with zero obligations.
