The legendary rock band Oasis are set to embark on a massive tour in 2027, but fans hoping for a headline appearance at Glastonbury Festival will be disappointed. Co-organiser Emily Eavis has officially confirmed that the band will not be appearing at Worthy Farm next summer.
The band recently announced an extensive run of shows across the UK, Europe, and the US, which left many observers noting a significant gap in their schedule during the festival period. However, despite the speculation, Eavis put the rumors to rest after a direct inquiry from a fan on Instagram, responding simply: “Sorry Jimmy, not this time!”
While the prospect of an Oasis headline set has been ruled out, the festival remains a hotbed of anticipation. Other major artists, including Sam Fender and Harry Styles, have been linked to potential appearances. Festival organizers have confirmed that ticket packages for the 2027 event will go on sale in early October, with the usual requirement for fans to register on the official website.
For those still eager to catch the band live, Oasis have confirmed that camping options will be available for their shows at Knebworth. Fans attending the performances on 11 and 18 September can utilize a dedicated campsite village, which includes late-night entertainment and facilities to help manage travel logistics. Noel Gallagher recently discussed the band’s decision to extend their comeback tour, though he remained tight-lipped regarding the possibility of new material.
