Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley Signal Major Progress Toward Florida Georgia Line Reunion

The prospect of a Florida Georgia Line reunion has shifted from hopeful speculation to active planning. After months of subtle hints and a pair of high-profile onstage appearances, Tyler Hubbard has confirmed that he and Brian Kelley are working behind the scenes to coordinate live performances for the coming year.

While specific dates have yet to be finalized, Hubbard’s recent remarks indicate that the duo is moving beyond their 2022 hiatus. Speaking with Chicago’s US99, Hubbard shared that the pair has been spending significant time together, rekindling both their personal friendship and their professional chemistry. He noted that they are “itching to get back on stage” and offered the clearest sign yet that a reunion is taking shape.

So we'll probably put some shows together next year. That's about as much as we've planned at this point. We're both excited. It's gonna be a fun year next year.

This development follows a series of public reunions that began in March. The duo first appeared together at a record label event honoring Jason Aldean during the Country Radio Seminar. This was followed by a surprise appearance at CMA Fest in Nashville, where Kelley joined Hubbard at Nissan Stadium, eliciting a massive response from the audience.

Reflecting on that moment, Hubbard noted the emotional weight of the moment for both the artists and the fans.

It was cool. It was a great moment. It was kind of that moment where everyone around us and the fans and everyone online got to experience the power and the healing that BK and I have been getting to experience for the last year or so.

The duo’s “indefinite hiatus,” announced in 2022, allowed both Hubbard and Kelley to pursue solo ventures. However, the last year has been dedicated to “intentionally rebuilding” their bond. While there are currently no plans for new Florida Georgia Line music, the focus remains on returning to the live environment where they first built their legacy.
