Video Premiere: Gutless – “Burning the Bridge”

Gutless is poised to have a big year. The band’s scrappy punk rock is perfect for the mood of the moment, brash and untamed. Their latest single picks up on another recent cultural trend; featuring JER of JER, Skatune Network, and We Are the Union, “Burning the Bridge” is a bouncy ska-punk song that should appeal to any fans of the genre.
The band shares that “Burning the Bridge”‘s “lyrics tackle surviving abuse, and the anguish of still feeling tethered to a harmful person long after cutting them off.” The cut comes from their upcoming debut LP, recorded with Rob McGregor, whose work with Hot Water Music, Against Me!, and Fake Problems all serve as fair touchstones for the rest of the record, as yet unannounced.
