Video Premiere: D.C.R. Pollock – “Lost Track”
Posted: by The Editor
Released last October, D.C.R. Pollock’s Call the Dogs Off is a beautiful and brooding debut, mixing electronic sounds with nylon-string guitar and Pollock’s emotive croon. With its straightforward churning guitar pattern and swaying, catchy chorus, “Lost Track” stands out as a quieter and enticing moment on the record. Pollock describes the tune as being “about trying to balance working at a warehouse and having a relationship; prioritizing one resulting in neglecting the other. All of it while losing track of what I actually wanted out of my life.”
Today, we’re psyched to premiere the video for “Lost Track.” On the concept and shoot, Pollock said, “the video was spearheaded by my buddy John Rizkallah after a couple years of wanting to work together. All I told him was ‘I want a single shot video evolving around time’ and he was just like ‘I got you.’ I showed up to set like a week later and we had it done in four takes. Dude’s an animal.”
