Track-by-Track: The Dangerous Summer – ‘Coming Home’
Posted: by The Editor
The Dangerous Summer just capped off the summer with their sixth LP Coming Home. It picks up well from the band’s previous releases, a bright and melodic alt rock record anchored by AJ Perdomo’s intensely personal lyrics. There’s a slight departure from the band’s previous material in the generally more downbeat nature of the record, but the result features some of the band’s most beautiful and hardest-hitting music to date in songs like “Sideways” and “Meet Me in the Morning.” The entire band sat down to explain the origins of each song on Coming Home, and we’re excited to bring you an exclusive stream of all those song explanation videos below.
Coming Home is out now on Rude Records.
