Liam Frost put out his debut LP under the moniker Oceans in the Sky in January of last year. In December of this year, he’ll be putting out a deluxe version of that album, Parallels. In conjunction with that announcement, Oceans in the Sky is releasing two singles, a B-side called “Always” and the Brothertiger remix of the single “Ghost,” and today we’re excited to bring you an exclusive premiere of the “Ghost” remix before it hits streaming services tomorrow.
Brothertiger’s take on “Ghost” is equally dreamy and dancey, pulling from both his chillwave background and his current fascination with sophistipop. He sands down the harsh, icy electronics of the original to smooth the track into something lighter and brighter, but it works really well with Frost’s resonant vocals. Check it out below.
