On Saturday night, fans lined up down the block of Marathon Music Works in Nashville in anticipation for Role Model’s sold-out show. The sense of community was immediately palpable with the collection of handmade patch-work Kansas Anymore shirts and posters referencing inside jokes.
Opening the night was Debbii Dawson, who captivated the crowd with her soulful voice and heartfelt performance. In a special moment, both she and her guitarist were surprised with a birthday cake on stage, as the audience joined in to celebrate. The warmth and joy of the moment set the tone for the rest of the night, making for a memorable start to an already exciting show.
From the moment the band stepped on stage, the energy in the room was electric. Fans erupted in cheers, and from the first note, it was clear this wasn’t just another stop on his tour—it was an experience. The crowd sang along to every single word and the smile on Tucker’s face never left as he looked out into the crowd and danced across the stage.
A signature moment of the tour arrived as the night drew to a close with “Sally, When The Wine Runs Out”, where a fan is brought up on stage to dance. In a special surprise, he invited singer Ashe to join him, and ended the set with the album closer, “The Longest Goodbye”.
As fans spilled out into the streets, still humming the melodies of their favorite songs, one thing was certain, Role Model had delivered a show Nashville wouldn’t forget anytime soon.
