Porter Robinson Communes With Nature in 'Something Comforting' Video

In these uncertain times, we can all take solace in the comfort of nature, as long as that nature is within walking distance of our houses and we stay 6 feet away from all other humans while getting there.

Porter Robinson, too, takes comfort in the natural world in a new video for his recent single “Something Comforting.” Out Wednesday (March 25), the clip features Robinson alone in a simulated version of the outdoors, an area that becomes increasingly compressed until, finally, Robinson finds himself actually outside in the warm light of the sun.

Released March 11, “Something Comforting” follows the January single “Get Your Wish,” which was the first new music from Porter Robinson in six years (his work as Virtual Self notwithstanding). Robinson’s sophomore LP, Nurture, is out later this year, with no release date yet announced.
