Plus, NLE Chopps spends a 16th week at No. 1.
Singer/actress Poppy (real name: Moriah Pereira) debuts at No. 2 on Billboard's Emerging Artists chart (dated Jan. 25), thanks to her third studio album (and first on Sumerian Records) titled I Disagree. The set arrives at No. 130 on the Billboard 200, marking her first appearance on the chart, with 7,000 equivalent album units, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.
The set also opens at No. 5 on Hard Rock Albums and No. 15 on Top Rock Albums.
Poppy had charted one prior title: her debut LP Poppy.Computer reached No. 11 on Heatseekers Albums in December 2017.
Meanwhile, NLE Choppa logs his 16th week at No. 1 on Emerging Artists, as his single "Camelot" ranks at No. 78 on the Billboard Hot 100 with 9.5 million U.S. streams.
The Emerging Artists chart ranks the most popular developing artists of the week, using the same formula as the all-encompassing Billboard Artist 100, which measures artist activity across multiple Billboard charts, including the Hot 100, Billboard 200 and the Social 50. (The Artist 100 lists the most popular acts, overall, each week.) However, the Emerging Artists chart excludes acts that have notched a top 25 entry on either the Hot 100 or Billboard 200, as well as artists that have achieved two or more top 10s on Billboard's "Hot" song genre charts and/or consumption-based "Top" album genre rankings.
Elsewhere on Emerging Artists, Oakland, California-based rapper Likybo makes his Billboard chart debut, arriving at No. 27 on the strength of his breakout song "Kraazy," which surges by 88% to 5.5 million streams.
Plus, Beach Slang debuts at No. 45 on Emerging Artists, as the punk band's fourth LP, The Deadbeat Bang of Heartbreak City, earned 1,000 units in its first week.
