Out of Barrie, Ontario, Mount Mural spent the last year and a half writing, recording, and touring Southern Ontario. Those writing and recording sessions would culminate in their forthcoming debut EP and finds the band shifting from their previous indie-folk sound.
World is the first taste of the EP and that shift. Shimmering guitars flicker and shine alongside shredded notes and then soar with shoegaze textures. It’s a dynamic rise that levels out with soft vocals before the inevitable collapse. Listen here.
