Manuel Turizo Serenades Fans A Cappella for Billboard Live At-Home Concert

"How's your quarantine going?" the 19-year-old asked to kick off his live stream, which raised money for MusiCares.

Colombian singer-songwriter Manuel Turizo teamed up with Billboard to raise money for MusiCares with a Billboard Live At-Home concert Wednesday (March 25), via Facebook.

“How’s your quarantine going?” the 19-year-old asked to kick off the conversation on Facebook Live. “Please, take care of yourselves, because this is serious.”

During the candid conversation, he serenaded the viewers with a cappella versions of “Una Lady Como Tu” and his collab with Feid “BORRAXXA” and Piso 21 “Déjala Que Vuelva”

Turizo also gave the thousands of fans that connected to his live stream a preview of one of the new songs on his upcoming album. “This song, I think, has very special lyrics. You all know that for me it’s important for lyrics to actually mean something and that get us thinking,” he said about the new track.

He also went on to say that he had plans to release a new song but decided not to amid the coronavirus pandemic and promised that once the health crisis was over, he’d release the new album and would embark on a tour.
