Lorana returns with Countless First Times, the second single off her forthcoming EP. Here, Lorana explores how she views and feels returning home to Alken, Belgium after living in London. Much like the first single, ‘Am I?’, Countless First Times conveys the duality between both homes with recorded samples that swells from keys into a dynamic arrangement like the weight of overwhelming nostalgia.
Included in the samples are an assortment of sounds from Lorana’s parents’ kitchen as well as a trip to Rhodes. Listen below.
