The single is from the producer's forthcoming LP "Golden Hour."
It’s been three years since the release of Kygo‘s sophomore album, Kids in Love.
Since then, the producer has kept fairly busy, releasing singles with everyone from Imagine Dragons to The Chainsmokers to Whitney Houston (his remix of Houston’s “Higher Love” cover hit No. 1 on the Dance Club Songs chart in August), but it’s been awhile since we’ve gotten a complete project from the Norwegian dance phenom.
That changes with Kygo’s announcement Tuesday (March 24) that the first single from his forthcoming LP, Golden Hour, will be out this Friday. “Hey guys I hope you’re all doing well & staying positive in these tough times,” Kygo wrote in a social media post announcing the project. “The good thing about being home all day is that I’ve had a lot of time to work on new music. I’m very excited to announce that I’ve finished my 3rd album ‘Golden Hour’ the first single is out Friday!”
Golden Hour (not to be confused with the 2018 Kacey Musgraves album of the year Grammy winner of the same name) will be out via Columbia Records. A release date has not yet been announced.
