Kehlani Pushes Back Sophomore Album Amid Coronavirus Outbreak: 'Stay Safe'

As fans feverishly eyed an announcement for Kehlani‘s long-awaited sophomore album, the Bay Area singer revealed on Sunday (March. 15) that she’ll be pulling the plug temporarily due to the coronavirus outbreak.

“To be transparent i HAD a release date,” the “All Me” singer wrote on Twitter. “We’re unable to complete any of our plans or move forward with the album at the moment due to the pandemic. Not thinking about music at the moment, focused on how to just be a good citizen to society at this time. stay SAFE luv y’all.”

In December, Kehlani unleashed her slithery earworm, “All Me,” featuring Keyshia Cole. She kept the motor running by churning out “Valentine’s Day (Shameful),” and her latest release “Toxic.”

She also has served as a formidable assist-woman on the features front, linking up with Justin Bieber on “Get Me” and Megan Thee Stallion’s bouncy tune “Hit Me Phone.”
