Out of Cork, Ireland, newcomer K.P. Ring is ready to share years of writing and recording for himself with the public. Written as an exercise in meditation to himself when the world around him had crumbled, Not A Hopeless Place is simple but raw with his penetrating vocals.
Speaking on the inspiration, Ring says:
“The song was written like a message to someone I was in love with before. It’s also commendation on frustrations with my own life and way of being at that time; Painful realizations that I was coming to. In the end, it’s pretty positive I think. I kind of came to a resolution.”
