Jhene Aiko Ascends to No. 1 on R&B Songwriters Chart, Thanks to 'Chilombo'

Plus, production duo Fisticuffs tops R&B Producers.

Jhene Aiko rises to No. 1 on Billboard‘s R&B Songwriters chart (dated March 21), thanks to 12 songwriting credits on the latest Hot R&B Songs chart from her new album, Chilombo.

The set arrives at No. 1 on Top R&B Albums and No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 152,000 equivalent album units, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.

Aiko’s “B.S.,” featuring H.E.R., which Aiko co-wrote with Brian Warfield, Mac Robinson, Big Sean and H.E.R., leads her dozen Hot R&B Songs hits at No. 5. It concurrently debuts at No. 24 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100.

On the R&B Producers tally, Fisticuffs, the production duo comprising Brian Warfield and Mac Robinson, hits No. 1 for the first time, thanks to seven production credits on the Hot R&B Songs chart, all via Chilombo.
