Earlier this year, Beige Banquet released their debut album ‘Beta’ and now returns with the first new single since titled AWAKE.
The post-punk track is driven by a pummeling drum machine with manic synthesized claps and fills and erratic guitars. Tightly wound, it unravels with a melodic bridge and spoken word vocals that offer a wide-eyed cathartic release.
AWAKE is the first single off Beige Banquet’s forthcoming sophomore self-titled EP. It’s due out on Friday the 13th through Just Step Sideways Records.
