Dave Chappelle has joined the Yang Gang.
Though the popular Democratic presidential hopeful failed to qualify for Tuesday's (Jan. 14) debate, he's got a number of celebrities in his corner. The most recent is the stand-up comedian, who, according to a press release from Yang's team, will perform two shows to support the candidate's campaign on Jan. 29 and 30.
"Dave is one of the most important voices in our country today and I'm thrilled he has thrown his support behind this campaign," Yang said in a statement. "He and I share similar concerns about the future and hopes for what it could be. We are also parents who see the world that we are leaving to our kids and believe they deserve better."
The unconventional candidate shared a similar sentiment in a sweet photo of the duo he posted on Twitter, as the two smile big, hand-in-hand. "You are the best," he wrote. "Let's do this for our kids."
