“Coronavirus! I’m telling you, sh– is real!” Cardi B famously warned her fans just last week on Instagram in a panicked PSA. And her outburst is music to the Internet’s ears after producers transformed it into a flurry of remixed melodies.
DJ iMarkkeyz got the ball rolling with his club-ready banger simply titled “Coronavirus,” which already lit up a club in Rio De Janerio and has been charting fairly well on iTunes since its release four days ago. “Damn I posted the iTunes chart 2 hours ago of this da– Corona song charting on the hip hop charts at 96 now it’s number 11,” Cardi B posted via Instagram on Tuesday. “86 on the overall charts ..I’m glad yaaa having fun.”
And DJ Snake definitely had fun with it by using his regular and recommended solo downtime in the studio to crank out a mini-remix of the rant featuring the French producer’s signature flourishes. After properly sanitizing himself, the 33-year-old hitmaker put his hands to work by turning her “Guess what, bi—? Hahaha coronavirus! Whoo!” line into a spectacular beat drop moment he made with the clink of his fork against a glass.
Charles Cornell prepared his Twitter followers with a jazzy piano rendition, playing the keys to the beat of Cardi’s words and even mimicking her exaggerated facial expressions for another version of the PSA to brighten everyone’s day.
