For those stuck at home for the foreseable future due to the coronavirus, now is a good time to perfect those bedroom-friendly moves — and Tyga‘s video for new single “Freak” has all the right moves.
The West Coast rapper enlists Megan Thee Stallion for the pair’s first collaboration, whose bouncy, club-ready production is courtesy of Mustard and Pliznaya. The video finds Tyga (rocking a Blade-inspired leather outfit, vampire fangs included) throwing a party at an underground club, while Megan heads to the dungeon to show off her seductive dominatrix skills.
“I need a freak, freak, freak to rub my hair, hair, hair/ Ayy, I need a freak every day of the week/ Put the legs in the air, put the legs in the air,” Tyga spits on the catchy hook.
Megan immediately takes center stage thanks to her incredibly naughty, expletive-laced guest verse: “Oh you lookin’ for a freak? I’m the biggest one/ I can do a trick you ain’t know make you c–/ Big ghetto booty, bougie, choosy/ Ain’t givin’ up the p—y for a dinner and a movie.”
“Freak” is the latest addition to Tyga’s long list of collaborations with female rappers, with his recent being the remix to Doja Cat’s “Juicy” and teaming with Iggy Azalea for “Kream.” Last month, Tyga called upon Ozuna for the throwback-leaning “Ayy Macarena” remix.
As for Megan, she’s keeping busy promoting Suga following a public label dispute with 1501 Certified Entertainment. The rapper recently dropped the videos for “B.I.T.C.H” and the self-directed “Captain Hook.”
