Track Premiere: Options – “Toast”

Seth Engel is one of the hardest-working–and most proficient–figures in the indie-emo scene. In the last eight years he’s released seven records under the name Options, and he’s got another one on the way, called Swimming Feeling, and today we’re excited to bring you the newest single from the LP. It’s called “Toast.”
Engel says. “‘Toast’ was the first song I wrote for this record. It came to me quickly, writing and demoing the whole tune in a night at my practice space… I was really writing with no goal in mind, other than to have fun making a song, which I definitely achieved. The life-circumstances I’d found myself in at the time were not good, but music is good, so I leaned in.”
