Your EDM’s own Petey Mac has just dropped the debut single for his new project The Two Fake Blondes. Joining his production skills with his wife, Hannah Mac’s vocals and songwriting skills, the two have just released “If You Really Love Me” a super-fun track with some great throwback piano-house vibes. It’s truly a song that makes you feel good.
The track starts right off with Hannah’s vocals layered over a rising piano house riff. The blend of piano house and vocalization really hits the sweet spot taking you back to the 1990s. However, the song get a modern twist with the drop. There’s a sort of vocal bridge during the buildup where you can hear the bassline coming in. The drop is a slick tech house banger that takes you right to the middle of the dancefloor in 2020. As much as I love the melody during the verse, the drop is where it’s at, this one gets you moving.
Check out the The Two Fake Blondes’ debut single “If You Really Love Me” out now on Gameroom Records. Keep your eyes peeled for much more new music coming from this exciting duo in 2020.
