Song Premiere: 3am – “27s”
Posted: by The Editor
There’ve been a lot of different weird strains of ‘fifth wave emo,’ apparently crossing over with every other genre out there. Even still, 3am’s particular style of banjo- and violin-soaked emo stands out. They’re gearing up to drop their debut LP Life’s Hard, and fans of bands from Home Is Where to Algernon Cadwallader will want to pay attention.
Today we’re excited to bring you the album’s fiery opening track. It’s scrappy, and chaotic and it opens the record on a high note. 3am describes “27s” as a song that “shows off pretty well what our sound is about and it’s got the whole band singing on it!” Stream that song below.
Life’s Hard is out May 6.
