Photography + Review: Made In America Fest 2022

The annual Made In America Fest took place in the heart of Philadelphia this past weekend with a lineup as strong as ever.  Following the tradition of previous years, upon entry, guests were greeted to the CAUSE Village to promote local activist groups that inform and organize citizens into building a more educated and secure community. Once you made your way through the CAUSE village, rows of local food trucks and beer huts were ready to satiate your festival appetite as you make your way to one of the three stages.

With day one giving us prominent hip hop artists, we got to see Larry June, Toro Y Moi, Pusha T kick off the first day.

Being avid festival goers, we understand the importance of taking a mid day break to hydrate and refuel so you do not blackout before the headliners.

After taking a minute to refresh with the variety of food truck options, we made our way back to the stages to catch Lil Uzi Vert and Tyler the Creator close out day one.

Mother Nature has a funny habit of raining the last day of festivals but despite grey skies in the morning, things cleared up before artists took the stage for the day. With day two putting an emphasis on Spanish speaking artists, we were excited to kick off our day with Chimbala on the Liberty stage.

After a high energy performance from Chimbala, the bar was set high for the day. While we expected nothing but the best from the artists on the Rocky stage, our expectations were exceeded tenfold with performances from Victoria Monét, Tate McRae, and Don Toliver

After two days in the heart of Philadelphia watching a multitude of acts take each stage by storm, it was hard to say goodbye and return to our lives. To send all of us off on a high note, Made In America had Burna Boy and Bad Bunny close out the festival with unforgettable performances.

We hope you enjoyed this weekend as much as we did and hope seeing these pictures motivates you to go next year. Let us know who you hope to see perform next year!
