Mac Miller passed away much too soon, aged just 26. On Friday morning, the hip-hop artist’s final, posthumous album Circles arrived, reminding us all of the talent lost.
Circles features twelve tracks, including the previously released "Good News,” and was imagined as a companion piece to his 2018's Grammy-nominated LP Swimming.
Miller’s sixth studio album was completed with producer Jon Brion, who also worked on Swimming and was involved with the Circles sessions at the time of Miller’s death.
Superfans around the globe got in early on Cirlces, with a listening parties held in Sydney, Australia on Thursday (Jan. 16), and several events taking over Miller's hometown of Pittsburgh, NYC, and Los Angeles,
Miller’s family also green lit the creation of music videos to accompany the tracks from Circles, a poignant wave goodbye from a young artist.
