Musical blood runs in Lorde's family, because her sister Indy Yelich has just released her debut solo single called "Threads."
After previously teasing the track, the songstress has now shared the tune in full. A slow-burning track, the song features elements of electro-pop and can easily be compared to her sister's infamous Melodrama album.
Listen to Indy Yelich "Threads":
In a press release of "Threads," she called the song a recollection of "a toxic, messy love affair" and that it "depicts what being in love at 23 feels like; chaotic, hopeful, passionate."
Upon the song's debut, it sent social media ablaze with reactions with many singing the song's praises.

Melodrama was a huge success for Lorde, where it became her first No. 1 album in the United States. It debuted with 109,000 equivalent album units and spawned the top 20 hit "Green Light."
As for Indy, "Threads" has been a long time in the making. In a post on her Instagram account, she revealed that she has been working on music for several years now, but that now was the right time to finally share it with the world.
"Threads is out now. I’ve been secretly working away at music for 4 years and i’m finally ready to share this part of me with you," she shared.
"I knew right after we made it that this was the first thing that had to come out. I hope you love it as much as I have loved living with it this past year," she said.
Elsewhere, she went on to reveal that the official music video for the song is "coming very soon."
