Lizzo is joining the dozens of musicians and celebrities who've pitched in to help Australia in the midst of the nation's most devastating brushfire season on record.
The "Good as Hell" rapper/singer took some time out from her current tour in the nation on Wednesday (Jan. 8) to get her hands dirty and volunteer at the Melbourne Foodbank packing up food hampers for the citizens affected by the fires that have killed at least 25 and scorched more than 18 million acres to date.
"We had the one and only Lizzo helping us sort and pack hampers in the warehouse today!" the Foodbank Victoria tweeted alongside a pic of Lizzo rocking an orange vest.

On Tuesday, Elton John pledged $1 million to help combat the fires that have been raging since September as 130 blazes continue to burn out of control. Joining the likes of reunited children's act The Wiggles, Kylie Minogue, P!nk, Metallica, Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman and many other celebrities who've made six-figure donations or scheduled benefit concerts to aid firefighting causes, John announced during a show in Sydney that he was joining the dozens of stars stepping up to help.
Several competing promoters announced on Wednesday that they are banding together to support the Sound Relief charity, which first raised money for those affected by the 2009 bushfires and floods in the nation. Earlier this week, live entertainment giant TEG announced the Fire Fight Australia fundraising concert, through its TEG Dainty and TEG Live companies. The lineup has yet to be announced for Fire Fight Australia, which will take place Feb. 16 at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium.
