Interview: Bad Time Records On Boosting Indie Labels
Posted: by The Editor
Is your heart simply bursting with admiration for your favorite independent music label? Mike Sosinski from Bad Time Records has shared some simple tips for spreading the love on the latest episode of our music talk show Get Involved. Video editor Molly Mary O’Brien reached out to interview Mike Sosinski, Bad Time‘s founder, after seeing a particularly instructional tweet about indie label dissemination.
And here at The Popdosemagazine, we are not afraid of a little ‘news you can use’, so in the name of service journalism, take a gander at the video and leave with some helpful hints to keep the love going with your own favorite tune-purveyors. After all, attention spans and internet feed space are limited these days, but it’s individual people that keep the music machine running; so hit up your local record store and urge them to stock your favorite label (whether Bad Time Records or another!), share your love on social media, or reach out to a trusted friend and let ’em know which labels are tickling your fancy these days.
Bad Time Records is coming off a run of high-energy signature ska punk releases, including Eichlers’s My Checkered Future and Dissidente’s The War On Two Fronts, so check them out on their site. And you know the drill: go subscribe to The Popdosemagazine’s YouTube channel, please and thank you.
