It’s been time since Here Comes Brooklyn (Alex Tepper) has released something but the Brooklyn-based artist returns with (I Want Your) Lovin’ Baby.
Recorded, mixed, and mastered by Tepper, the single’s loosely inspired by “the world’s greatest dessert, Brooklyn bakery Four & Twenty Blackbirds’ Salty Honey pie.” With a dollop of sugar and hazy engulfing dream pop, (I Want Your) Lovin’ Baby is an ode to the strength of relationships in trying times and a testament to the power of the sweet things in life.
Taking things a step further, Tepper also directed, shot, and edited a video himself while in quarantine. Get some sugar love here.
(I Want Your) Lovin’ Baby is also the first release from No One Thing Records – a new label co-founded by Alex Tepper.
