The holidays are here, and Movement Festival in Detroit has a gift for all the techno fans of the world. The three-day Memorial Day weekend event just teased a bit of its 2020 lineup, and the first ten names cover a lot of ground.
English favorite Four Tet will serve experimental melodies, and Drumcode label head Adam Beyer will represent for Sweden with bumpin, high-energy beats. Tech house hero Maceo Plex will cast minimal spells, and Music On founder Marco Carola will build a subtle and steady mood.
House and disco lover The Black Madonna will dig through the crates, while Louie Vega will represent with his legendary house. Seth Troxler will bring the funk, German DJ Boris Brejcha will wear his Joker mask while mixing his signature "high-tech minimal" style, Berghain resident Kobosil will bring techno's new school to the Motor City mecca, and DJ Stingray will represent for the locals.
Movement returns to its home at downtown Detroit's Hart Plaza May 23-25.
