Alaska, Monét X Change & More Drag Stars to Perform in 'Digital Drag Fest'

The coronavirus outbreak has left millions of people around the world confined to their homes to help prevent the spread of disease. So, to help ease the tensions of quarantined life, some of the fiercest drag stars in the world are preparing to give fans a show they’ll never forget.

On Friday (March 20), Producer Entertainment Group (PEG) announced their upcoming new web series “PEG Presents: Digital Drag Fest 2020.” Starting March 27 and lasting through April 5, the new series will be hosted on Stageit, featuring a roster of PEG’s biggest drag stars performing individual 30-minute shows for fans at home.

Alaska Thunderfuck, Divina De Campo, Ginger Minj, Jackie Beat, Jiggly Caliente, Jinkx Monsoon, Jujubee, Manila Luzon, Miz Cracker, Monét X Change, Nina West, Peppermint, Sharon Needles, Sherry Vine and Trinity The Tuck (along with a special set from country singer Brandon Stansell) will each give stunning drag performances live from their homes, ranging from lip syncing to singing to even cooking.

“Drag is about resilience, and this festival is meant to share that message during a challenging time in our world,”PEG’s founder and president David Charpentier said in a statement. “We want to give fans an opportunity to continue supporting their favorite queens and provide a welcome distraction for drag lovers around the globe.”

Trinity the Tuck also chimed in, saying she was excited to give her fans some needed entertainment in these dark times. “With all that’s going on in the world, we need an escape,” she said. “Drag gives people some mental, stress and comic relief from the circumstances we face right now. I’m excited to share my art and hopefully make someone smile!”

Tickets for each of the shows start at $10. Get your tickets and learn more about each of the events of “Digital Drag Fest” here.
