Spanish police are investigating the death a 19-year-old after he was found in a swimming pool in Sant Josep, Ibiza.
Emergency services were called at around 3.10am on Sunday morning and the unnamed man was pulled from a private villa pool in an “unconscious state”. He couldn’t be revived by CPR.
An autopsy has been carried out by the Legal Medicine Institute the courts Ibiza to determine whether his body was intoxicated by drugs or alcohol.
The Foreign Office said: “We are providing assistance to the family a British man who died on 8 July in Ibiza, and are in contact with the Spanish authorities.”
Last year a 28-year-old British man at the Jet Apartments in Playa d’en Bossa.
